The Story
From Empty Lot to Dream Home
When a pre-fab design wouldn't work, we built something even better.
The homeowners came to us with a beautiful piece of property in Exeter, NH and an internet-bought design from a pre-manufactured company. One problem: that design wouldn't fit the specific lot or meet New Hampshire building codes.
Instead of starting over from scratch, we worked with them to stay within their original budget while building something even better: a fully custom home designed specifically for their land, their lifestyle, and their vision. Our design-build approach meant one team handled everything from first sketch to final walkthrough.
The result? A wide-open concept home with farmland views that became the star of the show, an oversized kitchen island built for entertaining, and rooms that flow seamlessly from one to the next.

Rick walks through the kitchen, dining, and living areas, explaining how the open concept design maximizes the farmland views.
The Vision
Designed for How They Live
Open concept living that puts the property's natural beauty front and center.
The large farmland surrounding the property was always going to be the focal point. Every design decision centered on capturing those views through oversized windows in the living room while creating interior spaces that flow effortlessly from kitchen to dining to living areas.
A semi drop beam runs across the entire main living space, eliminating walls that would have broken up the open feel. The result is a home that feels expansive and connected, whether you're cooking at the island, hosting in the dining room, or relaxing by the windows.

The Kitchen
Built for Cooking & Entertaining
The oversized island anchors the entire kitchen, with plenty of room for cooking, seating, and entertaining. A double oven and cooktop mean multiple dishes can be prepared at once, perfect for hosting family and friends.
Dining & Living
Where Entertaining Happens
The wet bar was added during the project when the homeowners realized how much they'd be entertaining. With an additional sink, wine cooler, and storage, it creates a perfect secondary prep station that keeps the flow going during gatherings.
The living room's oversized windows frame the property's farmland views, which will eventually include gardens and outdoor living spaces. No matter which room you're in, you're connected to the views and to each other.
